Countering disinformation through education: The curriculum readiness of Pakistani universities
The research examines the extent to which existing university courses and faculty capacities reflect Media & Information Literacy topics. It also specifies the needs and interest of faculty at 37 local universities to address online disinformation through educational interventions such as dedicated courses.
Perceptions and impact of disinformation on Pakistani youth: How university students understand online disinformation
The research identifies the levels of awareness, exposure and understanding of online disinformation among young Pakistanis, based on a survey of around 1,000 university students. It offers suggestions to prepare and protect youth against digital disinformation.

The report explores the effectiveness of non-governmental initiatives to counter disinformation in Pakistan and provides recommendations, including a whole-of-society approach and coalition-building, to outperform online disinformation and misinformation in the country. .
